1800 TRAKKA
- Major
features include state-of-the-art elevating roof construction,
giving stylish aerodynamic good looks with a minimal increase
to overall height. Being gas-strut assisted, the roof is
easy to operate and its angled lift provides an airy spacious
interior with large screened windows. As an option, the
roof
can be fitted with solar panels and even an internally incorporated
TV antenna.
-
Another great feature is a roll-out side awning, fitted
to provide added shade and shelter outside the Trakkadu.
-
Trakka’s pioneering swivel seat system allows the
driver and front passenger seats to be rotated and used
for extra seating.
- The
removable table can be used inside and out, utilising a
unique universal rail system for front and rear seat dining
comfort.
-
The Trakkadu’s rear seat features an inertia reel,
lap/sash safety belts for two passengers to be carried comfortably
and safely, as well as child seat anchorage points which
are not available in many motorcampers. The seat also folds
to provide a generous double bed and can be completely removed
for carrying bulky items.
-
Trakkadu’s kitchen is a user-friendly environment,
with plenty of bench and storage space, a three-burner gas
stove and a spacious compressor driven 85-litre 12-volt
electric fridge. Trakka utilises maximum living and storage
space by using contemporary roller doors for kitchen cabinets
and wardrobe plus the enormous boot storage under the bed.
- The
stainless steel sink is fed from a 50-litre fresh water
tank, and as a first in this size motorcamper, the Trakkadu
has a 38-litre grey water tank to protect our environment.
Both space efficient tanks are fitted internally so ground
clearance is not affected.
- A
pressurised water system is used in the Trakkadu while an
optional highly efficient heat exchanger hot water system
ensures hot and cold water is available in abundance. This
system is coupled with a separate shower outlet, located
just inside the rear lift door, great for washing off after
the beach.
-
An auxiliary battery is isolated from the main vehicle battery
but is charged when the vehicle is driven or plugged into
a 240v power or optional solar system. As an emergency feature
the auxiliary battery can be used to start the Trakkadu
if the main battery has been accidentally drained. This
is just one of the ways the Trakkadu delivers a degree of
independence and comfort that other motorcampers struggle
to match.
Trakka’s new integrated electronic control panel gives
campers the ability to monitor available battery power as
well as water capacity and grey water levels, along with
other vital functions to prevent unwanted surprises when
camping away from civilisation.
-
Central heating can be supplied as an option by an energy
efficient self-contained diesel heater unit, which draws
from the Trakkadu’s normal fuel tank to provide a
comfortable ambient temperature in cold climates.
- A
whole range of accessories and options are available, including
added door screens, annexes, a high mounted roof bed, microwave,
portable toilet and a 15 inch free standing LCD TV with
inbuilt DVD player to name a few.
